The new issue of Breaking The Grrrl is live and we are excited! It’s a big one–30 pages packed with articles, short stories, poetry, song lyrics, art and a beautiful photo shoot–and I want to give a big thanks and shout out to Ronisha Turner, Charisse Johnson, Jennifer Bell, Trick The Riddle, Neko Robbie, Melissa Charry, Shama, Jeffrey Vernon Matucha, Kelly Wilk, Sierra Jade, and Aurora-Marie for submitting some really awesome work for this issue.
You can access the new issue HERE or on under the Breaking The Grrrl tab on the website.
If you aren’t already in the know, Breaking The Grrrl now has its own Instagram page. If you want to be in the know, get sneak peeks of upcoming issues and features, or are simply a fan of the zine, then click HERE or scan the QR code below and follow us!

Once again, we are always accepting submissions, so if you have something you want to send in, email it to riotgrrrlthemusical@gmail.com. For our next issue, we are looking for survivor stories. If you have a story you want to share with the world, you will get to do it anonymously in this issue. More details are to come, so stay tuned if you are interested.

Along with the usual type of submissions–poetry, short prose, art, etc–for those of you who have things to say, but aren’t good at writing, creating art, or expressing your feminine rage in and articulate extroverted manner, we will now also be accepting Riot Post Cards as submissions. Simply, create a 3×5 or 4×6 card, scan it, and email it to us. They can look like whatever you want them to look like–a photograph you have written on with a sharpie, a collage of magazine cutouts, or simply words written down. No need to put your name on them because they are anonymous.

That’s all I’ve got for you this time. Enjoy the new issue of the zine, and keep on rioting!
